Our Story
AppsPOS was founded in 2017 by Kingsley Ong under the name Jay & Jov Pte Ltd, with a clear goal: to make enterprise-grade business technology accessible and affordable for Singapore's F&B and retail SMEs.
An early milestone came when Kingsley was featured by DBS Startup Xchange as one of the first mobile app developers to integrate an F&B business with DBS PayLah! payments — a recognition of AppsPOS's commitment to building genuinely Singapore-native payment solutions.
In 2021, the company rebranded to AppsPOS Pte Ltd to reflect an expanded product suite that now includes AI-powered analytics, Kings AI (a WhatsApp-based business intelligence assistant), QR code ordering, kitchen display systems, and queue management.
Today, AppsPOS serves 500+ Singapore businesses and more than 1,000 businesses across Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Cambodia, Malaysia, and Thailand. Our coffeeshop chain customers alone span more than 20 outlets across Singapore from Jurong to Changi.

IMDA PSG Pre-Approved Vendor
Achieved pre-approved vendor status under the IMDA SMEs Go Digital programme, enabling Singapore SMEs to access up to 50% grant support.
Rebranded to AppsPOS
Jay & Jov Pte Ltd rebranded to AppsPOS Pte Ltd to reflect the company's expanded suite of AI-powered business solutions beyond point-of-sale.
Expanded to Southeast Asia
Opened AppsPOS Development Limited in Hong Kong and extended operations to Indonesia, Cambodia, Malaysia, and Thailand.
